Every fall, we proudly host our annual gala, a festive evening that raises essential operating funds for the museum. These funds are crucial for us to continue presenting cutting-edge contemporary art through our exhibitions, performances and public programs—all offered with free admission.

We want to celebrate with you—our vibrant community that brings life to every opening, program and exhibition. Following DC's 2025 Gala, we will keep the celebration going with an afterparty hosted by Shyboy, the soon-to-open hi-fi bar redefining Dallas nightlife. From 10:00 PM to midnight, Shyboy will transform DC’s own generous space into an immersive experience.

The evening will feature a live set by GE-OLOGY, the Brooklyn-based record collector, house & disco DJ legend, and acclaimed producer for the likes of Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Jill Scott, De La Soul, and Yukimi Nagano (Little Dragon). Shyboy will serve its signature hi-balls, craft cocktails, and soft-serve ice cream throughout the night.

All ticket sales from the After Party directly sustain Dallas Contemporary’s mission to advance the discovery and appreciation of the art of this moment and to foster innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration in the arts.
