senior manager of membership + individual giving

position overview:

as we continue to grow and evolve, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the senior manager of membership + individual giving to play a crucial role in identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding members + donors. this position will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance the museum's individual gifts + membership program, ensuring a seamless and enriching experience for our supporters. at this time our main sources of individual giving are: dallas contemporary gala (every fall), major giving for exhibitions and public programs, individual membership. 

the manager is an integral member of the dallas contemporary team, reports to the executive director,  works collaboratively across departments and liaises with patrons, artists, curators, outside vendors, and board members -- they possess a passion for contemporary art, an entrepreneurial spirit and a self-starting personality.

the grant writer will play a crucial role in securing funding for dallas contemporary through the development and submission of grant proposals. working closely with program managers and executive and artistic leadership, the grant writer will identify funding opportunities, research potential donors, and craft compelling proposals that align with our organization's goals and objectives. the grant writer will also be responsible for tracking and managing the reporting process for grants that are received.
