We are thrilled to invite you to an evening dedicated to showing our appreciation for current members + experience the perks of a DC membership.

This month, join us for a hands-on workshop led by Hannah Eliza Chalker and in partnership with Pegasus Creative Reuse aimed to introduce members of the Dallas community to the timeless art of tapestry weaving.

Inspired by current exhibition on view at DC, You Stretched Diagonally Across It, participants will learn the fundamental weaving technique of "over one, under one" to create their own tapestry sampler. This workshop provides attendees with basic weaving knowledge while encouraging them to explore the craft through a crosscultural and historical lens. Using a portable hardboard loom, this method of tapestry weaving empowers participants to take art with them wherever they go. No prior experience necessary!
