car ball: postponed to 2021

Car Ball was conceived as an opportunity to safely bring us together for a night of art and music in support of Dallas Contemporary’s mission: presenting new and challenging ideas to our North Texas community, always for free.

The safety and wellbeing of our team and visitors remains paramount, and it is with that in mind that we have made the hard decision to postpone Car Ball to 2021. The continued increase in COVID-19 cases did not allow for a scenario where this event would be possible at this time.

We are enormously grateful for your support this year -- and every year, and look forward to welcoming you to Dallas Contemporary once we reopen in January 2021.

about car ball

this year we turned challenges into opportunities. in mid-march we were forced to temporarily close and postpone our largest fundraiser of the year.

that didn’t stop us. we saw it as the perfect opportunity to upgrade dc and provide visitors with an improved experience upon reopening. thanks to the partnership and generosity of ewing properties we now count with a brand new parking lot for museum visitors of all ages. we think this milestone deserves a celebration filled with art, music, cocktails and bites from local eateries -- join us!

funds raised  will directly support dallas contemporary’s mission to present contemporary art to the public for free.
