Dallas Contemporary is proud to present its second annual staff exhibition, showcasing the creative practices of the museum’s talented team.
About the Artists
Anairis Alvarez Vega (b. 1995, they/he, Visitor Services) is an illustrator and creative working out of Dallas, TX. Their work is heavily inspired by comics and the anecdotes of everyday life. Anairis's work spans across different styles and mediums, such as digital illustration, collage, and traditional pen and ink.
Gino Dal Cin (he/him, Sr. Manager of Development Operations) received his BFA from the University of North Texas and his MPS in Arts and Cultural Management from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. He is an illustrator, tattoo artist, and zine-maker living in Dallas, TX, and is the co-owner of the local risograph press, Soft Spots Riso.
Alexandra Hulsey (b. 1993, she/her, Communications / Graphic Design Manager) explores personal and communal identity through photography, writing, and mixed media. A graduate of Pacific Northwest College of Art, she has exhibited nationally and internationally, including at CICA Museum (South Korea) and Black Box Gallery (Portland).
Kelly Mason (she/her, Membership / Community Engagement Manager) creates work informed by the joy and authenticity of her inner child. She uses various mediums, including fashion, photography, collage, painting, and more. In 2023, she founded Petit Knock, a business dedicated to creating personable content for small businesses around the Metroplex. Kelly received her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of North Texas.
Kassidy Stines (b. 2000, North Texas, she/her, Visitor Services) is a multidisciplinary printmaker, illustrator, and graphic designer. She graduated in 2023 with her BFA in Studio Art with a focus in Printmaking from the University of North Texas. Her current work is focused on narrative with book forms, utilizing printmaking to illustrate the story. She is well-versed in many printmaking forms, most often gravitating to intaglio and monotype. She continues to experiment and develop her body of work in her personal practice. She is interested in exploring themes related to connection, relationships, and sexuality through the lens of astronomical phenomena and space exploration.
Ryan Semegran (b. 2000, they/them, Visitor Services) is a Dallas based interdisciplinary performance artist and sculptor born and raised in Austin, Texas. They graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Sculpture in 2025. Semegran’s creative practice focuses on relationships between the body, identity, and the spiritual through immersive live performances, found object sculptures, and video installation. Pulling inspiration from the occult, mythos, and folklore, Semegran uses their body as a medium for personal storytelling and confession. Their work has been featured in institutions and galleries such as Satellite Gallery NYC, Dallas Contemporary, Arts Fort Worth, and the Oak Cliff Cultural Center.
Jillian Wendel (b. 2001, she/they, Visitor Services) lives and works as a curator, writer, and museum educator in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Wendel's work revolves around creating collaborations with community members in the larger arts community. The Shed Show, Wendel's backyard project space in Denton, TX, allows for just that. Hosting students, emerging, and local artists enables Wendel to make generative, genuine connections with the many creatives of the region.
