Chelsea Beck was born in Providence, RI in 1980. She studied art at Bard College with Amy Sillman and Judy Pfaff, then went on to receive her MFA in sculpture at Yale School of Art under Jessica Stockholder, and attended Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. Ceramics came later, in 2018, after a hand-building class and three kids. She works from her home studio in Pasadena, California.

Materials: Light red underglaze with archie's on top; with Amaco deep fire brick and lilac.
